E46 - Working For Art

Trinity indoctrinates coworkers
It turns out that people who have never heard of generative art can get excited about it really quickly! Here are some of the projects Trinity used to seduce her colleagues:

Anniversary interview with ciphrd
We recorded an amazing session with ciphrd in which we talk all things year one of fxhash, fx(params), live minting, and about the new consumable tokens. Take a listen, or read the transcript via fx(text).
SMOLSKULL fam
Will has been slowly spending his tez windfall and is now the proud owner (again) of a Smol. For anyone looking to get into a gradient, #1680 was available near-ish the floor at the time of recording.

fx(anniversary) recap
It was the big anniversary week for fxhash, and the it was 365 ed., 1tz minting spree! The price points were like the beta days, but the mint mechanics (i.e., gas) were pure 1.0. We breakdown some of the gassiest projects in the table below (statistics courtesy of fxwho.xyz)

02. Projects of the Week
Punktwelt

Erik Swahn made a huuuuuge comeback with Punktwelt, one of the most discussed projects of the week. While an homage to the much-loved Farbteiler, it brings exciting new textures, colors, and dimension to the table.

fx(mash)

Rich Poole's contribution to the anniversary event is a true celebration of the first year of the platform, with a variety of callouts and homages to other artists and famed fxhash work.

Mantle

Michael Connelly (aka xiiixiii) was previously famed for Repeater, a project that dropped at literally the same time as Garden, Monoliths, and on the same day as Farbteiler (aka a day to remember).

Annum

Podcast favorite Landlines may have had the biggest brain when it came to the anniversary event; 365 is a great symbolic number, but one that only allows a few to celebrate. By going big to 8760 editions, he was able to ensure that everyone who wanted a piece could get one.
Shaders = True was one of the delightful features of the drop, but the ultra rare RGB is the hero. We'd embed a piece here to show you, but unfortunately the nearly 8k pieces crashes the fx(text) editor. Please enjoy this uploaded image instead.

03. Shoutouts
Verdant Brut

Verdant Brut very nearly hit the top charts for the week, being pushed out by the huge surge in beta projects. You can read more about the project via their fx(text) article.
We also mention Commune, the artists fxhash genesis project.

Ceremony

cc0x0x0, for those who aren't in the know, is jeres' alt account where they release work that leverages art in the public domain.
Don't forget to tap 'F' to enter 'forever' mode!
Space, Mystery, Light & Time

The real mystery is that work from such a regarded artist is still available to mint. Read more about Rodell on his website.
Modulation

Randm had an immediate hit with Modulation, and has seen steady growth over the trajectory of their fxhash career. This project is sure to please anyone who has a love of isometric work.

Ataraxis

Liam Egan is at it again with another ambitiously large project. Although burned down to a mere 700 editions, the project originally sat with more than double that.

04. Looking Ahead
New TENDER collab

ciphrd mystery drop?
Another week done, and always more to come. For those in the US, have a great Thanksgiving holiday. For everyone, thank you so much for reading, and please collect if you would like to support the show. Until next time...
