- Orbitanaut on Art Blocks

- Waiting to be listed
With both of us off of work for the rest of the year (parental leave is amazing) there was finally time to sit down and list the tokens that have been graciously donated to us throughout the year - Always Be Listed, friends!
YouTube link is below. We only got a third of the way through our collection, so expect more of this content coming in the future.
- Ty Vek who?
New artist Ty Vek has been hitting the ground hard this month and everyone wants to know - who is Ty Vek? There has been rampant speculation in Discord, with theories ranging from Tyler Hobbs to Matt Deslauriers to Iskra to Jeres.
The conspiracy theory goes that Ty Vek, the anonymous artist, is actually teaboswell in disguise. But here's the twist: teaboswell is actually a bayamese person using a pseudonym as part of an elaborate scheme.
In reality, they are two members of a secret society known as hicnude, a group of artists and intellectuals who have been working together for centuries to advance the cause of art and creativity. The members of hicnude are said to be masters of disguise and deception, and their true identities may never be known.
But their art is a testament to the power and ingenuity of this secret society.
Gossip was further driven by the mysterious bundle drops hidden around Art Basel Miami - the last time the community has been so excited about an artist's secret identity was with Typing!

02. Drops of the week
- A Lullaby for Euclid

This very short run project from Sarah Ridgley required a lot of gas and impeccable timing. We love the soft primitives and have them earmarked for future collecting on the secondary.

- Warrior Nun
Trinity's latest guilty pleasure obsession. If you like shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Orphan Black, ignore the terrible name and give Warrior Nun a shot. It is beautifully shot on location in Spain and is lauded for its excellent cinematography and choreography. Streaming on Netflix.
- Tangentum

With clear (if possibly unintentional) qubibi vibes, we aren't at all surprised to see Tangentum as the top performing project of the week. Although some iterations fall into similar shapes (with what we assume is a pretty tight algorithm), those that break the mold really stand out.

- Nanopanorama

Piter Pasma has taken his signature ray-hatching technique, which is typically used to generate 3D objects, and has applied it to a flat effect.
Don't forget to listen to our interview with Piter if you haven't already:

- Ichigo

Finally, a project that is an homage to Will's dog, Ichi. Just kidding, this grid-based work evokes the feeling of strawberries as represented across innumerable palettes. We love Bruce's impeccable eye for design, especially as he begins to incorporate more texture into his art.
Friend of the podcast KenConsumer interviewed Studio Yorktown in May - it's an awesome episode so don't forget to check it out.

- Stargazer

The sky in Stargazers beats the heck out of what we get in greater New York area, and the flipper armies definitely agree. Although we aren't the biggest fan of the person enjoying the stars (maybe it's jealousy), we would be thrilled to see soft blending of colors in the sky show up in another ykxotkx project.

- a fortiori

Thomas Noya and TENDER have teamed up to create a spectacular light show based on works by Picasso and Fontana. We love watching this render and find the variety in the collection outstanding.
